Book off-airport parking in minutes

PARKING WAYS lists off-airport parking lots around four airports: JFK and LaGuardia in New York, Newark Liberty in New Jersey and Philadelphia International in Pennsylvania. Instead of circling the terminal garages and paying whatever the drive-up rate is that day, you choose a lot ahead of time, lock in its daily rate online and ride the lot's shuttle to your terminal.

This page covers the booking itself, what happens on the day you fly, and what the parking types and amenities on each listing actually mean.

How it works

  1. Search

Enter your airport, then use the calendar to set drop-off and pick-up dates and times.

  2. Compare

Every lot shows its daily rate, miles from the airport, shuttle and Google rating.

  3. Book

Pay securely online; your confirmation and reservation number arrive by email.

On the day you fly

Once the booking is made there is nothing more to arrange. Here is how the trip runs from your driveway and back again.

Drive to the lot
Head to the address on your confirmation and lot page. Allow time for the shuttle on top of the arrival time your airline recommends.
Check in
Present your booking confirmation or reservation number to the attendant, then leave the car where the lot directs you.
Ride to departures
The lot's shuttle carries you and your bags to the terminal. Shuttle details for each lot are on its page.
Coming home
Once you land and have your bags, the lot's free shuttle runs you back to your car. Some vans circle on a regular loop while others come when requested, so read the shuttle notes on the lot's page before you fly.
Staying longer?
Days beyond the ones you booked are paid at the lot when you collect the car. Before check-in you can also change your dates online.

How often do the shuttles run?

Every partner lot runs its free airport shuttle around the clock, with a van about every 5 minutes:

Shuttle intervals checked against each lot's listing in October 2026. Operators can change them, so look at the lot page again before you travel.

Parking types

Every listing names its parking type, so you know before you book whether you'll be parking the car or giving the keys to an attendant. Rates are per day, so the same lot works for an overnight business trip or a long vacation. These are the types our partner lots offer today:

Outdoor self park
You drive in, pick an open-air space and keep your keys, then take the shuttle to the terminal. Offered at: Regal Philly Parking, MS Parking Philly, ARB Parking Philadelphia
Outdoor valet
Lot staff take your keys on arrival and park the car in an open-air lot while the shuttle runs you to departures. Offered at: PARK AC JFK, ARB Parking JFK, Apex EWR Parking, Maas Parking Newark, ARB Parking Newark, Parking Place LGA, Carvia Parking
Covered valet
Staff park your car under a roof, out of the sun, rain and snow, and you ride the shuttle to your flight. Offered at: A1 JFK Park

How does off-airport parking work?

Rather than a garage at the terminal, you book a space at a privately run lot a short drive from the airport. On travel day you check in there, leave the car and ride the lot's shuttle to departures. Coming home, the same shuttle carries you back to the lot to pick the car up.

Do I keep my car keys?

It depends on the parking type named on the listing. At a self-park lot, which today means our three Philadelphia partners, you park and lock the car yourself and the keys travel with you. At a valet lot, which covers every JFK, Newark and LaGuardia partner, an attendant takes the keys, parks the car for you and returns them when you come back for it.

How long is the shuttle ride to the terminal?

That depends on the lot. Our partner lots sit between 0.3 and 3.8 miles from their airports, and each listing gives the distance along with the operator's own shuttle notes, such as how often the van runs or whether it comes on request. Count that ride as part of the journey when you decide what time to leave home.

When do I pay, and is anything due at the lot?

You pay online when you book, and the checkout total already includes taxes and fees. Anything a lot adds itself, for example days beyond the ones you booked, is paid to the lot on site. If you drive a large vehicle, check the lot page or contact us before booking.

What do the amenity labels on a listing mean?

They are the features each operator reports for its lot, such as a round-the-clock attendant, security cameras, shuttle tracking or a paved surface. The amenities glossary on this page explains each label and how many of our partner lots have it.

Where do I find the lot's address and directions?

Every lot page shows the street address on a map with a Get directions link, and the same address appears on your booking confirmation. Enter the lot itself as your destination rather than the airport, because the lot sits on its own site outside the airport grounds.

Can I still change my plans after booking?

Yes, online. New dates and times can be set through Modify reservation at any point before check-in, subject to space at the lot. A cancellation must reach us through the cancellation page at least 3 hours before your check-in time, and a processing fee is deducted from the refund; section 4 of our terms has the details.
